Communication Laboratory
A learning environment designed as a communication laboratory, not a conventional classroom. Each zone simulates professional speaking scenarios — from boardrooms to television broadcast studios.
Eight Practice Zones on One Campus
ASME Media & Communication Lab built a campus in Gresik as a complete communication laboratory. Every corner of the room has a specific function to simulate various speaking scenarios — from boardrooms to television broadcast studios. This approach accelerates skill mastery because participants practice in an environment that resembles real work situations, not in theoretical classrooms.
This facility serves all our training programs: Public Speaking Masterclass, Executive Rhetoric, Media & TV Presentation, and Corporate Training. Each zone is designed so that participants can eliminate speaking anxiety through realistic simulation repetitions with instructor guidance.
Television and News Broadcasting Studio
This studio is the heart of our facility. A room complete with a professional background and a three-point lighting system that provides a clear facial appearance on camera. High-definition cameras and industry-standard teleprompters allow Media & TV Presentation program participants to experience a fast-paced and technical production atmosphere from the very first session.
The main purpose of this studio is to familiarize participants with the rhythm of broadcast production — when to look at the camera, how to read text from a teleprompter without looking stiff, and how to adapt when sudden changes occur in the middle of a broadcast. Every practice session is recorded, so participants can view their performance objectively and make structured improvements with the instructor.
This broadcasting studio also supports news reading practice, simple talk show hosting, and live interview techniques. Experience in an environment that resembles a real television station prepares participants to enter the world of media without feeling awkward.

Podcast and Audio Production Room
A dedicated podcast room with professional-standard sound insulation (acoustics). High-quality condenser microphones and audio mixers allow participants to practice moderation and podcast hosting with clear recording results.
Participants can record sessions directly and listen back to the results to correct intonation, speaking speed, and vocal quality in depth. This room is also used for narration practice, voice-overs, and effective questioning techniques in audio format.

Executive Presentation Room (Boardroom Simulation)
For our Executive Rhetoric program, we provide a space designed to resemble the boardroom of a multinational corporation. This room is equipped with a large projection screen, a video conferencing system, and a formal oval table for high-level negotiation practice.
This environment helps participants build a leadership mentality and become accustomed to communication dynamics in formal, high-pressure business settings. Training scenarios include presenting proposals to the board of directors, handling sharp questions from a boardroom audience, and techniques for reading the non-verbal responses of meeting members.
The video conferencing system allows for remote meeting simulations—a relevant skill for executives working with cross-regional teams. Participants learn to maintain vocal clarity and visual presence even when not in the same room as their counterparts.

Public Speaking Stage and Small Amphitheater
Speaking on a stage requires a different kind of spatial awareness than speaking at a meeting table. We provide a raised stage area with a complete sound system to practice vocal projection and stage presence.
The audience seating is arranged to provide real visual pressure, helping students get used to facing the gaze of many people while delivering speeches or presentations. This small amphitheater configuration also supports interactive Q&A practice and panel discussion sessions.

Video Analysis and Playback Room
Every practice session in our studio is recorded and then analyzed with an instructor in this dedicated room. Equipped with a large monitor screen, we dissect every body language movement, facial expression, and vocal clarity of the participant in detail.
This visual-based evaluation method is proven to be more effective than mere verbal notes. Students can see for themselves what needs improvement—whether it's the habit of shifting feet, excessive hand gestures, or broken eye contact. This approach makes the skill improvement process concrete and measurable.
The video analysis room is available for all training programs. Because every program uses a recording and evaluation approach, this room is one of the most frequently used facilities by participants and instructors.

Communication and Rhetoric Library
A collection of classic and modern literature on communication science, rhetoric, mass psychology, and the latest media techniques.
A quiet room designed for researching speech materials or deepening theoretical insights. Great speakers possess depth of insight, and this library is the place to build that intellectual foundation.
Collaboration and Networking Area
A comfortable lounge and open area for discussing, sharing experiences, or practicing together in a relaxed manner.
Many brilliant ideas and business partnerships are born from conversations in this collaboration area. This supportive learning ecosystem creates a sense of family for the entire ASME Lab community.
Integrated Information Technology Infrastructure
High-speed internet connection and access to digital learning platforms throughout the campus.
Participants can access training modules, practice recordings, and additional materials online through the student portal. The learning process continues even when students are not physically on campus—providing flexibility for busy professionals.
Hygiene, Comfort, and Accessibility Standards
Hygiene and comfort aspects receive full attention throughout all facility areas. Classrooms and studios are cleaned regularly, and air circulation is managed to maintain participant focus during long training sessions.
A clean and well-organized environment creates a conducive learning atmosphere, allowing participants to concentrate fully on skill development. The collaboration area is designed as a comfortable lounge and open space for discussing and practicing together in a relaxed manner.
